A native of New Roads, Louisiana, set on the banks fo the False River, Will graduated from LSU with a B.S. of Accounting in 1998.He moved to New Orleans in 1999 to accept a position with the public accounting firm K.P.M.G. as a State and Local Tax Specialist. As has happened to many others over the years, the Crescent City's charm and friendly populace ensured that Will was here to stay.
After reading several books on Real Estate Investment, Will decided to try his hand at the rental real estate game. In 2001, the made an offer on a small four unit property in the Mid City neighborhood, which the seller accepted. Now what? As it turns out, his real estate books omitted information about real estate finance.
His agent referred him to a loan officer and he applied for a home mortgage. The transaction proceeded along as planned, or so Will thought, until the first scheduled closing date came and went. Curious as to what he could do to help the transaction along, Will attempted unsuccessfully to make contact with his loan officer. He called again and again and found it very difficult to obtain information about the status of his mortgage. After months of delays, headaches and minimal communication with his loan officer, the transaction finally closed.
Was this what most home mortgage applicants experienced during the home buying process?
In 2003, Will parlayed his passion for real estate and belief that he could provide his clients a superior home mortgage experience into a new career by becoming a home mortgage professional.
Will has gained valuable experience in his seven years as a home mortgage professional and strives to provide a perfect home mortgage experience for each of his valued clients.
"There is no lender who provides better service for my clients than Will." -- Sheri Thompson, Prudential Gardner
