The Saints are adding an experienced signal caller to their roster.

ESPN reports that New Orleans is signing quarterback Nathan Peterman to a one-year deal. The 29-year-old is expected to compete for a backup role behind starter Derek Carr.

Peterman has thrown for 712 yards, four touchdowns and 13 interceptions in 15 career games played.

The team is also reportedly signing wide receiver Cedrick Wilson to a two-year deal.

Wilson totaled 22 catches for 296 receiving yards and three touchdowns last season with the Miami Dolphins.
