The state Department of Transportation and Development wants to know where to place hundreds of electric vehicle charging stations in Louisiana.

The agency is inviting the public to attend their webinar on January 26 to discuss the matter.

Louisiana will receive about $73 million to place EV charging stations statewide over the next four years.

The stations are mainly planned for the Interstate highways, as well as major U.S. and state routes.

DOTD is accepting public comments by email until February 16.
