Somebody is a new millionaire after buying a winning Mega Millions ticket from a store in Hammond.
Louisiana Lottery officials says the million-dollar ticket was sold at the Quick Way store on West University Avenue.
The winner has chosen to remain anonymous.
Nobody in the nation won the top jackpot prize Friday night.
The next Mega Millions drawing is on Tuesday and the estimated jackpot is now over $1.5 billion.
