One of four teenage defendants accused of Linda Frickey's murder is considered incompetent to stand trial.

The judge based Monday's ruling on testimony from a court-appointed psychiatrist, who said 16-year-old Lenyra Theophile wouldn't be able to participate in her own defense without more mental health care.

After treatment at a Mandeville facility, Theophile will have another competency hearing in May.

Her three co-defendants will be tried as adults on April 3.

Frickey was carjacked and killed a year ago today.
