A deputy constable was shot this morning while trying to serve an eviction notice in New Orleans.
Officials say Constable Warren Smith was one of two people shot at an apartment complex on the 7800 block of South Coronet Court.
Constable Smith and the other victim were taken to the hospital, and their conditions are unknown at this time.
New Orleans police are searching for the suspect.
