Orleans Parish District Attorney Jason Williams has been acquitted in his tax fraud case.

Williams faced accusations that he was inflating his expenses at his law firm as a way to lower the amount he owed the government.

It took the jury about three days for the jury to reach their not guilty verdict.

Williams' defense team decided not to call a single witness.

His former law partner, Nicole Burdette, was found guilty on four counts concerning her personal tax returns in a separate indictment.
