An 18-year-old Covington High School student is facing up to ten years in prison after a recorded attack on a disabled teacher.

Larrianna Jackson is charged with second-degree felony battery and cruelty to the infirmed.

Jackson was arrested back on October 6 after a video of the incident at the school went viral.

Police investigators say the premeditated attack was part of a "Slap a Teacher" TikTok challenge that had gone viral on the social media app.
