Officials at Popeye's say they are re-introducing chicken nuggets to their menu of Cajun-style items.
The new nuggets made their first appearance since 2012 yesterday at restaurants in the U.S., Canada, and Puerto Rico.
Popeyes says the new nuggets are based on the flavors of its popular chicken sandwich.
The Popeyes Foundation has also purchased $1 million worth of nuggets from McDonald's, Wendy's, Chic-Fil-A, and Burger King to donate to the Second Harvest Food Bank of New Orleans.
