The Louisiana Department of Health reported 2,592 new cases of COVID-19 statewide Tuesday to bring the total number of reported cases to 207,685.
LDH broke that down to 199,659 confirmed cases and 8,026 probable cases.
The death toll increased by 17 to 6,156.
There are 874 patients being treated for coronavirus, an increase of 56 from Monday. The number of those on a ventilator rose by 11 to 92.
