A second LSU Tiger is opting out of the 2020 football season.

Safety Karey Vincent is joining defensive tackle Neil Farrell to withdraw from this season due to safety reasons concerning the coronavirus pandemic.

Vincent tweeted that after much contemplation he feels his best opportunity is to start training for the NFL combine.

However, Vincent is uncertain whether the NCAA will give eligibility relief to players who opt out of the 2020 season.

The council met last week to discuss extending players eligibility and those recommendations will be finalized before August 21.
