The Louisiana Department of Health said Tuesday the reported number of COVID-19 cases statewide stood at 38,054 with 2,596 deaths.
Over the weekend, LDH updated the number of those presumed recovered to 28,700.
Across Louisiana, 831 remain hospitalized due to the coronavirus with 103 of those on ventilators.
