President Trump is praising Louisiana Congressman Steve Scalise in an unusual way.
Trump held an event today to celebrate being acquitted in his Senate impeachment trial and he singled out Scalise, saying he looks better now than when he was shot on a baseball field almost three years ago.
The crowd at the White House applauded and gave Scalise a standing ovation after Trump made those remarks.
Trump also commented on Scalise stopping a ball at second base while he wasn't in very good shape and then throwing the runner out.
