The Louisiana Department of Health is asking for healthcare professionals to report any illnesses potentially associated with e-cigarettes.
The high alert comes after a spike in severe pulmonary diseases nationwide associated with using e-cigarette products.
Although no vaping-related deaths have been reported in Louisiana, officials would like to avoid them.
