Two Killed In Weekend Shooting Near Subdivision In Thibodaux

Police are questioning two persons of interest in connection to a fatal shooting over the weekend in Thibodaux.

Officers responded to a call early Sunday near the Abby Subdivision off Abby Road and found a car with damage caused by multiple gunshots.

Officials say they later found two shooting victims who were taken to the hospital where one was later pronounced dead.

Detectives say they do not believe the incident was a random act and are asking anyone with information to contact them immediately.
