Former State Police Superintendent Cleared By Ethics Board

A former Louisiana State Police superintendent is being cleared of wrongdoing in connection to receiving free housing and other services.

A lawyer for Mike Edmonson announced last night that a state ethic's board had declined to bring any charges in the case.

Edmonson was accused of freebies, vacation perks, and having state troopers run personal errands for him outside the scope of their duties.

Edmonson resigned from the state police back in 2017.
