Louisiana's state agencies are funded after the lawmakers approved a series of last-minute bills yesterday as the legislative session came to an end.

According to reports, the budget passed by a House vote of 102-0 with just minutes left before lawmakers adjourned.

Other bills passed on the last day also included a construction budget for projects across the state and teacher pay, but a fantasy sports betting measure was filibustered in the Senate.

Governor John Bel Edwards said the session was successful and Louisiana ended last year with a $300 million surplus.
