Two New Orleans Catholic Schools To Merge, Forming New Institution

Close-Up Of School Text On Blackboard

Two Catholic schools in New Orleans are merging.

Divine Providence and Holy Rosary School will be closing as the St. Therese Academy for Exceptional Learners is opened in the fall.

Students who attended the schools in Uptown New Orleans or Metairie Delta will instead go to St. Therese.

The Roman Catholic Archdiocese of New Orleans announced the decision after both schools were struggling with enrollment.
