One of three people charged after the killing of an armored truck security guard during a robbery attempt in New Orleans last year will be sentenced in January.

Deltoine Scott pleaded guilty to multiple federal charges yesterday in a plea agreement with prosecutors who opted to drop a murder charge he had faced after the killing of Loomis guard James McBride.

Scott is expected to testify at the trials of co-defendant Jerome Kieffer and his father, Armstead Kieffer.
