Kennedy Says Edmonson Owes Unpaid Taxes

Runoff Election Held In Louisiana For State's Senate Seat

Senator John Kennedy is asking the state's Department of Revenue to seek back taxes from former State Police Superintendent Mike Edmonson.

He fired off a letter to revenue officials yesterday stating that Edmonson should be taxed for getting to live rent-free for nine years at the State Police compound located in Baton Rouge.

A yet to be finalized report from the Legislative State Auditor brings into question numerous freebies Edmonson received.
