The former chief of staff for Governor Bobby Jindal says he approved the living arrangements for the now-former head of Louisiana State Police.
Col. Mike Edmonson has been criticized recently for moving his family into a ranch house built with state tax dollars for nine years without having to pay for the privilege of living there.
But, Timmy Teepell says he stands by his approval of the arrangements, saying in a statement released yesterday that it was in the best interest of taxpayers and the safety and security of Louisiana families.
