A social media savvy burglary suspect is on the loose in Jefferson Parish.

The Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office says a warrant is out for the arrest of Darrington Hemphill who is accused of using Snapchat to set up a burglary. An accomplice to Hemphill named Sandra Fugate is already under arrest in the case.

Deputies say Fugate let Hemphill use her Snapchat account to impersonate her to set up the burglary of a home on Riverside Drive in Metairie.  A shotgun and cash were taken from the home.

Anyone who knows of Hemphill's whereabouts is asked to contact the Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office.
