School Investigating Principal Seen With Monument Relocation Protesters

A school is investigating its principal, who was seen next to activists protesting the relocation of the General Robert E. Lee monument last week.

The Crescent Leadership Academy's Superintendent Tracy Bennett-Joseph gave order Monday for school Principal Nicholas Dean to be removed from campus.

Dean says he was taking pictures of what was going on during the monument dismantling and the fact that he was next to protesters was a coincidence.

Bennett-Joseph says the school's investigation will take around two weeks to complete.
