The NOPD has arrested four persons in connection with the July 2016 attempted armed robbery of the Lakeview Harbor restaurant on Harrison Avenue, including an offensive lineman for the Landry-Walker High School football team.
19-year-old Ahmad "Tank" Anderson worked in the kitchen of the restaurant and authorities allege that he organized the attempted robbery last July 12.
Two other men, ages 20 and 24, were arrested just days after the incident and another man accused of being the driver of a getaway car was arrested on Wednesday in Port Arthur, Texas.
Nearly 30 persons were in the restaurant at the time. One shot was fired at a restaurant employee who fled out a front door. The bullet struck a podium and no one was injured.
